Bandwagon

No matter what the political afflitation or weather they agree with our government and/or their policies, most people Support out Troops. Everyone knows someone this day in age that is in the military. You don't have to agree with the over all decisions of the higher decision makers to support the ones that are sent out to serve the mission.

Now this isn't about the government or our military. It's about supporting individuals that are part of the over all bigger picture.

Okay, right off the bat everyone has players they love and players they hate. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Bandwagon fans drive me nuts! When a team is doing well, people come out of the wood works. Fine whatever. My beef is with the fan's that one minute are like this player is great, amazing, blah blah blah.  The minute the same player hits a slump this fan is kicking them to the curb and saying they are washed up and need to be traded.

Recently has involved in a feed about this on twitter. I was gonna leave it alone, but I favorite a comment where someone called an individual a bandwagon fan, and for good reason.

My agrement is that if you're going to support and team, especially one that isn't great, you need to support the players. Don't start bashing them when they slip. Athletes feed off the fans energy, if we stop believing in them, how are they going to bounce back. Come one people it's not like you're sitting in the basement BSing with your buddies, you're posting this stuff online!

When a player falls into a slump it's never good, when it's pitcher it's even worse. People notice it more and are a little more unforgiving.

In the case of last night's Mariners game, Tom should not have been brought in to a 1 run game. He's having a hard time with location and has been taken out of the closing roll to be used in non stress situations. He gave up a home run, and the flood gates opened on the negativity. Tom did manage to work 2 innings, got a couple strike outs and only gave up the one run. Considering the situation he held it together well. I'm hoping Tom gains the confidence he needs, and works out the kinks. I believe we'll get out Bartender back!
